Web design in Miami: hand-crafted sites built to load fast and rank

Most "custom" web design in Miami is a page builder with your logo dropped in — bloated with plugins, slow on mobile, and structurally hostile to the SEO you'll eventually want to run on it. We design and build static, hand-coded sites from scratch: fast by default, structured for search from the first line of markup, and built to survive a decade instead of needing a full rebuild every time a plugin breaks.

This matters more in Miami than most markets because so much local traffic is mobile, on the move, and impatient — someone searching for a boat mechanic in Coconut Grove or a notary in Doral on their phone is not waiting three seconds for a homepage carousel to load. We design for that reality: fast paint times, clear hierarchy, and a path to contact that doesn't require five taps to find.

What you get

Deliverables

Custom design, not a theme

Every site is designed around your brand and your customers' actual path to a decision — not reskinned from a template library shared by a thousand other businesses.

Hand-coded, statically built

No bloated CMS, no plugin stack that breaks on update. Sites are built with modern static frameworks that load fast and have almost nothing to maintain or get hacked.

SEO-structured from day one

Semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, schema markup, and clean URL structure built in from the start — not patched on after the fact by a separate SEO vendor.

Core Web Vitals that pass

Image optimization, minimal JavaScript, and disciplined asset loading so your site scores well on the metrics Google actually uses to judge page experience.

How it works

Our approach

Discovery and structure

Before any design work starts, we map your site's information architecture against how customers actually search and decide — what pages you need, what each page has to accomplish, and how they link together. For a multi-location business this might mean neighborhood or service-area pages; for a single-location restaurant it might mean one tight, fast page that answers hours, menu, and reservations in the first screen.

We also audit whatever exists today — an old WordPress site, a DIY builder page, sometimes nothing at all — for content and assets worth carrying forward, so a rebuild doesn't throw away rankings or backlinks you've already earned.

Design

Design happens in the browser, not just in static mockups, so what you approve is close to what ships. We design mobile-first — the majority of local search traffic in Miami is on a phone — then confirm the desktop experience holds up, rather than the reverse.

Every design decision gets weighed against load time. A hero video looks nice in a pitch deck; it's often the single biggest reason a site fails Core Web Vitals. We'll tell you when a design idea costs more in speed than it's worth in polish, and offer the alternative that gets the same visual effect without the tax.

Build and launch

The build is static — pre-rendered pages, no server round-trips for content that doesn't change per visitor — which means fast load times without needing a large hosting bill or a caching layer to compensate for a heavy CMS. We handle redirects from old URLs, submit the new sitemap, verify Search Console, and check that nothing that used to rank quietly disappears in the switch.

Post-launch, we monitor Core Web Vitals and crawl errors for the first few weeks to catch anything that only shows up under real traffic.

Questions

Web Design, answered

Why static instead of WordPress?

WordPress can work, but most WordPress sites we inherit in Miami are slow because of plugin sprawl and vulnerable because of the same. A statically built site has drastically less attack surface, loads faster by default, and doesn't need monthly plugin updates to stay secure. The tradeoff is that non-technical content edits take a request to us rather than a login — which is the right tradeoff for most small and mid-size Miami businesses.

Can you redesign our site without losing our rankings?

Yes, and this is one of the most common ways a redesign goes wrong when it's not handled carefully. We map every existing URL to its new equivalent, set up 301 redirects, preserve or improve the content that's already earning rankings, and verify indexation in Search Console after launch.

Do you design for multi-location businesses?

Yes — this is a large share of our web design work, from Miami-Dade-wide service businesses to brands with locations in both Brickell and Miami Beach. Multi-location sites need location-specific pages that are genuinely differentiated, not the same template with an address swapped in.

How long does a build take?

A focused single-location site typically runs four to six weeks from approved design to launch. Multi-location or content-heavy sites run longer depending on how many unique pages need real copy rather than templated filler.
